Sorry, was away from wikia for a while. That was definitely an interesting topic to go through.
While that anon was maybe a bit argumentative, sure, it's a valid point that it clashes with the factual way the pages and everything else are presented.
(although one of the examples for a bad caption was the "check out my tats" one for the squareworld giant, which I actually kinda like even though it's extremely wry. blah blah humour is subjective.)
It's probably the only aspect of this wiki that isn't completely matter-of-fact "this is the area it is grey with a house" etc though.
Given the comparisons, I'm not sure 2kki is really as "serious abstract art" as something like a david lynch film though, or even the original YN itself.
The real question, I guess, is whether as an info database that means everything has to be stone cold factual descriptions of the content like some microsoft encarta deal about a sortof surreal video game.
So do we ditch like every caption that isn't "this is a picture of a house in the southeast corner of the area", or what? Could always just do a poll, not sure if the userbase here is large enough for any kind of comprehensive answer though.
Edit: If we make enough world maps we can just reduce how many screenshots there are overall, which could be an easy way around this.
