So, as I mentioned in the old discussion on this, I'm suffering this as well. Basically what happens is that, when attempting to select and/or browse wallpapers, entering the wallpaper gallery also immediately selects the 1st wallpaper. Backing out of this causes it to select it on it's own yet again. Backing out that time boots you out of the gallery to the previous menu, leaving you unable to properly select or browse wallpapers.
I'm playing the latest build of the Japanese version when getting this glitch, which is to say 0.107f. However, interestingly, when I played the most up to date English Translated version (0.107 by Wolfen), rather than the glitch simply not happening, only PART of it happens. You attempt to enter the wallpaper menu, and it auto-selects the first one, as in the current Japanese build, BUT, if you back out, you're then free to browse the wallpaper menu as intended.
Given this, I feel there's two possiblities:
1. Sometime between 0.107 and 0.107f, changes to menus in other parts of the PC, perhaps the more recently updated music section, somehow created this glitch with the wallpaper menu. Although that still begs the question of what causes the first part of the glitch to occur even in 0.107.
2. Something about running the game through EasyRPGPlayer causes the first part of this glitch, which then compounds with something else resultant of changes made between v0.107 and v0.107f. I'm a little less confident in this one, and may attempt to do a fresh manual install of the latest version to the best of my ability to test it, but I feel it's worth throwing out there, given the fact that the glitch does still sort of happen in 0.107.
Any thoughts or theories from people more familiar with how the game works?
